NSW Fair Trading is currently experiencing a high volume of all home building licence and design and building practitioner applications which is impacting assessment timeframes.
For home building licence applications, please see the current application processing times on our assessment process page.
For design and building practitioner registration applications, current application assessment processing timeframes are an average of 8 weeks. This time can also be extended if further information is required to assess the application.
