On 21 December 2011 Fair Trading was advised that Scullery & Holz Interiors Pty Ltd has been placed into liquidation on 16 December 2011.

Customers who have a contract with Scullery & Holz Interiors Pty Ltd should contact the liquidator and register as creditors.

Can Scullery & Holz finish or rectify the work they have done?

The company Scullery & Holz Interiors Pty Ltd has been placed into liquidation. Once a company is placed in liquidation the liquidator needs to determine how best to meet the commitments of the company.

There are significant criminal and civil penalties for Directors found guilty of continuing to trade when they are not able to meet their commitments.

In addition, there is no current contractor licence associated with Scullery & Holz. This means Scullery & Holz Interiors Pty Ltd is not authorised to contract for, or carry out, residential building work in NSW. Residential building work includes the installation of cabinetry in kitchens, bathrooms or laundries.

Monitoring

Fair Trading has received and responded to a number of complaints related to Scullery & Holz.  These complaints were processed in accordance with normal complaint-handling procedures and did not give cause for concern about the financial situation of the company.
